Characteristic
- Barriers between different fields of study have been removed, allowing students to take courses across different areas. A maximum of 10 credits can be earned from among courses offered in other programs within the Graduate School.v
- To meet the growing need among working adults for access to recurrent education in professional and specialist fields, classes are offered on weekdays and Saturdays, both in the daytime and evenings.
- An accelerated completion system has been established, whereby students may complete their degrees after a minimum of one year's enrollment, provided they have an excellent record of achievement such as presentations at academic conferences, have completed a high-standard Master's thesis, and have earned all credits required for completion. Herewith students can earn their PhD Program at the earliest in three years, in addition to the accelerated completion system that was adopted previously in the PhD Program.
- A semester schedule, similar to the one already operating in the PhD Program, has been introduced across all Master's Programs. All courses are now worth two credits each. This system enables students to take a wider variety of courses.
